    Description

This is a rare antique Japanese Nippon vase made of fine porcelain from Morimura, dating from the Meiji period, around the year 1911. This vase is oblong/almost cylinder shaped, with three gold feet and three pointed handles with rings at the top. The hand painted design depicts a lovely farmhouse and countryside scene on a matte finish with nice pastel colors of blue and greens. There's gold lines, beading and borders on the bottom and the top with a colorful geometric pattern of turquoise, red, white and black. This piece is in very good condition, no damage seen. There is a little fading on the gold. Please view the pictures for close up details. This vase measures about 12" tall and about 5" wide. The bottom is marked with the green "M" in wreath "Hand Painted, Nippon" mark. A beautiful and rare antique find, perfect for any home or collection! Shipped with care and tracking.
