    Description

    This is a souvenir plate with a colored transfer print of "Western Union College, La Mars, Ia." in the center.  There is a wreath of white flowers around theedge with a scalloped edge with a gold rim.  It has a mark on the back for "Wheelock, Made in Austria for Fred Evans & Co., La Mars, Ia., Vienna."  It is 8 & 3/8" across and has no chips, cracks or repairs.
